Hi! I checked out the recommended "Historical Collections of Ohio" for a listing of early settlers of Knox Co. One of the names was Beam before 1815. I am searching for the parents of Fredrick Beam b. 1799, PA and settled by 1840's in Richland Co. Ohio. His daughter Elizabeth married James Moury/Mowry in 1850. There are both Beam and Mowry names in Knox Co. and I am looking for a connection to my line. When James was killed in a farm accident, the report was carried in Mt. Vernon paper. This leads me to believe that some of his relatives could have been in that area about 1869. Any help on any of the Beam or Mowry lines would be most appreciated...my brickwall! Nola in Indiana
