Do you have a Martha Butler in your line? Where did your Butler family originate? My Martha Butler was born around 1807, supposedly in Maryland. I have found little information on her, and I don't know when she came to Knox Co. She married Nathaniel Hornbeck 6/17/1830 in Knox and lived in Knox Co. OH until his death around 1849. She remarried Joel Olney in 1850 and moved to Delaware Co. OH. I also have information on a Lewis Burlin Butler, born 9/1808 in Fairfax VA, who married Drusilla Decker, a first cousin of Nathaniel Hornbeck, in Knox Co. I have been unable to connect Lewis Butler to Martha however, since I have no information on her parents or siblings. Any information is greatly appreciated.
