Wilda, My Sargent family was also in Knox Co., OH. They lived in Frederick Co., MD prior to that. I believe Mary Ann was very likely a part of my family. Do you have any further info on her parentage or any siblings? Nathaniel Kinney and Barbara Sargent Kinney moved to Knox Co. from Frederick Co. sometime prior to 1820. I believe 7 of their 9 children were born in MD. Several members of Barbara Sargent's family moved to Knox Co., OH at the same time as Nathaniel and Barbara. A couple of her brothers and several of her sisters. Maybe we can tie some of these to your Mary Ann. Would love to hear from you.
