At the time of her death she was living with her daughter, Mrs. Rollin Pond, near Fredericktown. Mother Styer was a believer in the truths of Universalism, and united with the church at Hartford, Licking County, more than a quarter of a century ago. She was known as a kind hearted Christian woman, who tried to live her faith as well as profess it. The funeral services were held at the home of her daughter on Sunday, March 14th., conducted by Rev. C.A.
