James and John may have been brothers so now I have a PA county to check into. John's 1st wife was Sarah Chambers, a native of Ireland according to one of the History of Knox County books. I have spent hours in the Mt. Vernon Library as well as the Ohio Historical Society but haven't come up with John's parents name or origin. After Sarah died in 1811, John married Anna Wells. She died 1837, then John migrated to Andrew Co. Mo. I don't have any James Kerrs but that's not to say they weren't bros. or cousins. Did you know that Kerr in Gaelic means left handed?
