Very possibly, they were buried in a private cemetery on their own place, as was common practice then. You can ask the Knox County Genealogical Society to check the county will books for you. The county has wills that go back to the 1820s. They are online at www.rootsweb.com/-ohkcgs or you can mail them (please include copying money and a sase) at Family Research Library, Knox Co Service Center, 117 E High St, Ste B153, Mount Vernon, OH 43050.
