Clyde Leroy, infant son of R.B. & Ida B. Leedy, died Jan. 24th., aged 9 days, and was buried at the dunkard church near Ankneytown, Jan. 25th. The parents will ever kindly remember the friends who lent their assistance in time of sickness, death and burial. ... George Kiser left here on Wednesday morning of last week for his home. ... D.K. Leedy talks of going to Newark again. ... Two children of C.C. Amsbaugh's are very sick, and a child of T.D. Brown's is afflicted with scald head. ... Mrs. D. Beal, of North Liberty, is visiting in this place this week. ... J.F. Hess is in this community visiting friends and relatives. He is out on a short vacation. ... Michael Hess has sold his property here to Samuel Whistler, who will move here in the spring. ... Mr. Brown has the Michigan fever.
