Aug. 21, 1937 Death Claims D.M. Wiggins Bladensburg Resident Succumbs Following Illness of One Week Utica, Aug. 21. - D.M. Wiggins, Bladensburg, 65, died at the M. & S. hospital, Mt. Vernon, Friday Morning following a week's illness of cerebral embolism. He was a retired blacksmith and carriage worker. Born in Coshocton county near New Gilford and was the son of Warren and Ruth Pigman Wiggins. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Orpha Wiggins, one son Everett of Bladensburg and one daughter, Mrs. Ina Hoss, Utica, R.D., and on grandson, one brother of Holyoke, Colo., and one sister, Mrs. Etta Russell, of Martinsburg. Mr. Wiggins was a past master of Ohio lodge, F. & A. M. of Bladensburg and a member of Glenwood chapter, O.E.S. He was an active worker in the Democratic party, having served as a committeeman from Jackson township for more than 30 years, and at times was on the Knox county executive committee. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the home in Bladensburg. Rev. Howard Bay. Cumberland, officiating. Burial in the Bladensburg cemetery. ************** Coshocton Morning Tribune Friday morning June 25, 1915 New Guilford Woman Called To Her Reward Miss Nora Wiggins, 45, died at the home of her father, Warren Wiggins, in New Guilford, at one o'clock Thursday morning after an illness of about five weeks. Death was due to a complication of heart trouble and uraemic poisoning. She is survived by her father, one sister, Mrs. Etta Russel, of Martinsburg, and two brothers, D.M. Wiggins, of Bladensburg, and Lloyd Wiggins of Bridgeport, Nebraska. The latter was summoned to the bedside a week ago. Funeral Services will be preached Saturday morning at ten o'clock in the New Guilford Methodist church and interment will be made in the church cemetary. Miss Wiggins was a member of the New Guilford W.C.T.U. and of the Bladensburg Easter Star. *********************** Clara Wiggins obit Coshocton Daily Age May 16, 1907 Mrs. Veach Died Today J.S. Bauchman was notified at one o'clock this afternoon of the death of Mrs. Clara Veach, of Bladensburg. She was a cousin of Mrs. Bauchman and also of Frank Wiggins, Elm street. Mrs. Veach was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Wiggins of East Union who still survive; two brothers, Max Wiggins of Bladensburg and Lloyd of Nebraska, and a sister near Gambier and a sister Miss Nora Wiggins who is at home, also survive. She was about 30 years old. Funeral arrangements have not yet been made. These were the only ones I was able to find, hope it helps.
