John Mott and moved to Knox County, Ohio in 1812 (My ancestor) Jonathan, the III, b. 1760-61, killed by Indians May 1779 Joseph, b. ca 1762-3, M. (1) name unknown; m. (2) Content Randall John, b. 1766, said to have died Pittsford, Vt. shortly after Rev. War Levi, b. ca 1758-67; m. Esther Woodward Rebecca, b. ca 1758-73, m. Ira B. Eastman Elihu, b. March 4, 1772, m. Chloe Manley, moved to Ohio Elizabeth, b. ca. 1776; m. Joseph Wright of Monkton, Vt. Jonathan Rowley, b. Nov. 18, 1729 married (2) Esther, who prob died in Ohio after 1840. They had five children: Esther, b. ca 1780-84; m. Phineas Squire and moved to Ohio Sarah or Sally, b. ca 1784-5; m. Bradley Squire, moved to Ohio Isaac, b. ca. 1785; m.Eunice Tinkham Samuel, b. May 11, 1787; m. Betsey Ward, moved to Ohio\ Anna, m. 1807 Jonas Lewis Jonathan Rowley died in Pittsfield, VT between March 1805 and May 1806, and Esther remarried to Abraham Stewart on May 25, 1806. She resided in in Pittsford, Vt. in 1812 and later moved to Muskingum, Knox and Morrow Counties in Ohio. My ancestor Mary Rowley who married John Mott moved to Knox County, Ohio in 1812. I believe the Rowley's in Knox County, Ohio were from this family, as a number of Rowley's moved to Knox County, Ohio at the same time as my ancestors John Mott, Sr. and Mary Rowley (daughter of Jonathan Rowley and Elizabeth Hopkins (first wife), as well as some of the children by his second wife Esther (your ancestor) -I haven't been able to exactly connect all the Rowley's either.
