Here is the reason I suspected Ann or Anna to be a Roby. I first checked the 1880 census and found this couple to be the parents of the person I was looking into. I always check the next few households either direction and two households later there was a Berry Roby and his SIL. Robert and Ann's first (or first listed) child was named Berry.
