Notes for SAMUEL FAYETTE REDMAN: Samuel Fayette Redman (enrolled on the 15th day of Nov. 1861 at Mt. Vernon, Ohio in, the 20th Reg. Co. G, in Ohio Volunteers for 3 years from 1861 to 1864, and re-listed for another two years) Interred in Turkey Creek Cemetery near Walnut Grove, Green Co., Missouri. They moved to Union Co., Iowa in 1867 where they engaged in farming. In 1886 they moved to a farm in Polk Co., Missouri, near Walnut Grove. He lived with his daughters family in Beaver Co., Oklahoma on a homestead type sod house in early 1900's.
