On last Tuesday afternoon Rachael Cole, Hannah Grubb and Ambrose McBride took the train here for Fulton County, Ill., to visit friends and relatives residing there. ... Last Sunday morning Mrs. Henry Kellar was at Jacob Leckrone's, and as she thought she was at the hail door, she gave it a push, and it happened to be the cellar door, and she fell headlong down the cellar stairs, injuring herself badly, but not seriously. ... Joseph Grubb of this place expects to visit relatives at Shiloh next week. ... Last Saturday night while George Isenbice was at church, a thief entered his house through the cellar and plundered it, but did not take anything that they have discovered. They attempted to cut the lock out on a bureau drawer but Mr. Isenbice thinks he came home and the burglar had to leave before he accomplished his design.
