He was born in Bedford Co, PA in 1794 and died in Knox Co, OH, in 1847. He married Margaret [Unknown MN] (b abt 1795, PA; d Mar 1879/1880, Knox Co) about 1816, probably in PA, and came to Ohio before 1817 when oldest son, Simon, was born. I have managed to track down Simon and his oldest brother, Philip. They both remained in Knox County. The younger five children, however, are proving elusive. Delila, born OHIO Lydia, born abt 1826, OH Aaron, born abt 1827, OH [may have gone to IN then to IA then to KS] ? John, born abt 1833, OH George, botn abt 1835, OH [may have gone to IL then IA] ? Is there anyone out there with any information on John Philip Baker's family?
