There is both a North Bend Church of the Brethren and a cemetery at that location. I believe that it is in Brown Township, and yes the nearest village is Jelloway.

An obit for Melissa Anna (Donnelly) Morrissey gave her marriage date as 3 Oct 1867 in Mount Vernon, Knox Co, OH. I would like to know if there is a record of it in the marriage books. If not, where might I be able to find it? In Champaign, IL, she was a member of the Emmanuel Episcopal church. Is there a church in the Knox County, OH, area that she might have belonged to and where she might have been married (in 1867)? Thanks, Jen
If you're looking to obtain the obituary, you can contact the Mount Vernon News at 1-800-772-5333 or you could email them at obits@mountvernonnews.com. Since you have the date it shouldn't be too difficult. You could also call the public library at 740-392-BOOK.
