I have a few questions I was wondering if someone could help me with: I was recently in Mt. Vernon and had a limited amount of time. I need to obtain a few more things and will pay for copies if someone had time to help or perhaps you can just send me in the right direction. 1. I found a marriage record for my g-grandparents in 1882. It was listed in the Knox Co. marriage book. Where and how do I obtain a copy of this marriage record? 2. While at the library, they have a book of maps for each township. It was in very poor condition so I didn't want to touch it more than necessary. It lists the names of landowners etc and I would like to get a copy of this book. Can someone tell me how I can do this? If there is not a book available, I would appreciate copies of a few townships. 3. Where would I research land records? 4. Where can I find church records, such baptisms, marriages etc. The library in town did not have any of these books. Thanks so much for any help you can offer Have a good day Patti

Posted on: Knox Co. Oh Queries Board URL: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Oh/Knox?read=364 Surname: Kammary ------------------------- My gggg-grandfather was Manassas Kammary (b1812 d1890). I don't have any information on the Lepley family for you, but this is the first time I have seen a reference to the Kammary's. Manassas was married to either a Mary Ann Kross or a Julie Ann Gross. One of their daughters was a Maria/Mariah. She married Robert D. Cheeseman in Illinois. Manassas was from Penn and Ohio, lived in Illinois (?) and died in Hardin County, Iowa. Might he be a sibling or uncle to your Mary? What information do you have about Mary's family? I would be grateful for anything. Thanks!
