Have you tried the spelling BAER? Lots of them in Pa....may be part of the Lutherans that came from PA to Knox County around 1820 or so. I am looking for a death record for Margaret or Peggy McNair Frost, wife of Josiah Frost, which would be sometime around 1845. I know that Josiah married Hannah Harris after Peggy, but I don't know when Peggy died exactly. She was my ggg grandmother. And I would like to have a death record on Josiah, too. (He was born 1790 in MD, and they were married there, so she must have been b. about the same time) He died in Jan, 1865. I also don't know when Hannah Harris Frost died, but I do know that Josiah also m. Lucy Workman (a widow) after hannah. And Josiah's son Joseph Perry Frost m. Deborah Tilton in 1837. Is there a record of that? (I am looking for documentation of these ancestors, so I need references to actual records.) Thanks for any info you can provide, Charnee Smit

Hi Joe, I don't know if we have talked before, but this is part of my family. My g-g-g-grandfather was Isaac Workman, on my father's side, and my mother was a Hunter..... I'm pretty sure that James Hunter came off my William Hunter line. I think I may have a picture of his grave, but, finding it will be a chore! I will have to check more on this later today, no time this morning. Have you seen the Workman Family History book? I am not sure if James is in there. Will have to get back to you on this. Dear Lucy and ALL The title of the book is as follows St. Luke, Danville, Knox Co., Ohio, 1829 & up, early members, baptisms, marriages, confirmations, deaths Richard Koch is listed as the main author with Homer Dennis Blubaugh and Jim Logsdon as added authors...also St. Luke's Church is listed as an added author. I found this information on the Mormon site www.familysearch. Maybe together we can scare up a copy. Cheryl
Can anyone tell me anything about Mahala Thompson and Taylor Henwood married July 4 1863 in Knox County Ohio ? Alice
I am wondering if anyone has a copy of the book that details all the baptisms, marriages and burials of St. Lukes..I know there is such a book and I would love to own one if anybody has any leads on it...or if anyone can do any look ups for me....I must warn though that my relationships with St. Lukes is through Mickley, Colopy, Sapp, Blubaugh and Logsdon....in other words, many, many people.
