Wilda, My Sargent family was also in Knox Co., OH. They lived in Frederick Co., MD prior to that. I believe Mary Ann was very likely a part of my family. Do you have any further info on her parentage or any siblings? Nathaniel Kinney and Barbara Sargent Kinney moved to Knox Co. from Frederick Co. sometime prior to 1820. I believe 7 of their 9 children were born in MD. Several members of Barbara Sargent's family moved to Knox Co., OH at the same time as Nathaniel and Barbara. I am searching for the parents of Fredrick Beam b. 1799, PA and settled by 1840's in Richland Co. Ohio. His daughter Elizabeth married James Moury/Mowry in 1850. There are both Beam and Mowry names in Knox Co. and I am looking for a connection to my line. When James was killed in a farm accident, the report was carried in Mt. Vernon paper.
