    3. I am in the process of indexing the Surnames in a booklet of 98 pages written my an ancestor: Christian Hines. The boook was published in 1866. He describes nearly all the houses in the city at that time and names the occupants. Many occupations are given for the people. Since many of the germans of his family and friends came to Ohio, I wonder if anyone is interested in such an index? If so, I will be glad to put it on the county websites listed above, in small portions to accommodate everyone's computer capacitites. It will take me a couple of weeks to finish the indexing.
