    3. Hi Cheryl...Thanks for the reply I imagine we have the same information as I recall forwarding an email that you had sent to the list on to a fellow who is related to both of us. you on the Colopy side and me on the Rightmire side .....and that is Bob Rightmire. I don't think he belongs to the OHKNOX list but I have for a long time and you had sent something on Colopy that I recognized as one of his sur-names and I sent it on to him. As I recall he had some photographs that he thought might be Rightmire's but they turned out to be Colopy's and you helped him identify them... That being said I am always interested in learning more about the Rightmire family so thanks a million for the reply...Alice ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, October 18, 2004 11:52 AM Subject: Re: [OHKnox] Basil Young / Sarah Cullison > Goodmorning, > I don't know how this information might fit in but I can add that my great grandfather's sister, Mary Alice Colopy, was married to Winfield Scott Rightmire in Knox County Ohio in the late 1800s. 3. Thanks for your reply Berneice...I have quite a lot of information on the Kimmels including that Amos and Nancy are buried in Walnut Grove Cemetery.Bureau County Illinois..The only information I would like is if the stone is still in place and would be interested in a picture if it is...Would pay cost if anyone in the area could do that...The only other thing is if you should run across any information about William Rightmire during his time in Bureau County Illinois from around 1860 until shortly after 1870 I would appreciate it if you would let me know..Since my Grandfather was born their in 1870 I know they were in Bureau county during that period of time....I will keep your names in mind since I also research in Knox County Ohio ....Alice ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, October 16, 2004 1:07 PM Subject: Re: [OHKnox] Basil Young / Sarah Cullison > Alice, I experieced the same thing about an anti-spam and was told my message was deleted, so I sent my message twice, but evidently it wasn't deleted since you were able to read my e-mail. 3. Dear Berneice.... Your e-mail caught my eye for several reasons....My Grandfather James William Rightmire was born in Bureau County Illinois ...His parents were William and Margaret"Kimmel" Rightmire....Williams parents were Benjamin and Martha "Holt" Rightmire who settled in Hardin County around 1830 and Benjamins parents were James and Elizabeth "Daugherty" Rightmire who were early settlers of Knox County Ohio sometime around 1908-10. coming from Virginia to Ohio... William Rightmire was raised in Hardin County Ohio..went to Westerfeild Ohio (abt 1860 ) to what is now Otterbein University for a time and then to Bureau County Illinois to teach apparently..He apparently had some affiliation with the Brethren Church ..Their he met Margaret Kimmel who's parents were Amos and Nancy "Hummel " Kimmel...Always looking for ANY information on the Rightmire family along with a number of other Rightmire descendents who met on line and are researching this family..I think I have info on the Kimmel's from the book you mention .Your names are not familiar to me...but the locations are...Anything look familiar to you .Alice ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, October 16, 2004 11:59 AM Subject: Re: [OHKnox] Basil Young / Sarah Cullison > Hi, I have a book "History of Bureau County, Illinois" published in 1885 which lists your Bazel Young and wife Sarah along with 42 other Youngs and some Wilsons and Kisers. Let me know what information you are looking for. They are not relatives of mine. I grew up in Bureau Co., Illinois. I am looking for anything on the Mott and Ebby families in Knox County, Ohio.
