Deeds are from around 1809, Probate Indexes from 1808, Birth Records 1867 thru 1908, Death Records 1867 thru 1908, Marriage Records 1808 thru current, Will books 1808 thru 1956. They answer specific requests and will not do complete family searches. Copies are .07 each, certified copies are $3.00 per page, except deeds and they are $2.00 a page. Nancy, Here is a copy from the Coshocton paper: Harold Glen Holt NEWARK -- Harold Glen Holt, 92, of 1465 Residence Drive, died Monday, Nov. 3, 2003, at the Newark Health Care Center. He was born March 5, 1911, in Cavallo to the late Orin and Emma (Egger) Holt. He was a farmer and a custodian for the Danville Schools. He was a lifelong member of the Tiverton Church of Christ and attended the Danville United Methodist Church. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Danville American Legion 650. He served as a Tiverton Township Trustee for 14 years and on the Danville Village Council for 14 years. He is survived by his wife, Jean (Klein) Holt, whom he married June 8, 1941. Also surviving are two sons, Jerry C. (Susan) Holt of Willow Street, Pa., and Daniel D. Holt of Sacramento, Calif.; a daughter, Marilou (Ed) Tonnesen of Granville; and five grandchildren, Chris Holt, Jessica and Miriam Tonnesen and Laura and Emily Holt. He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov., 7, 2003, at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville, with the Revs. Doug Sweet and James Stuller officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens with graveside military services conducted by the Knox County Joint Veterans Council. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, and until service time Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio 1984-A Coffman Road, Newark, OH 43055, or to the charity of the donor's choice. Both are buried at St John's Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in Pleasant Twp, Knox Co (between Danville and Mount Vernon): George A Grimm (b 1881; d 1963) Cora A Grimm [w/o George A] (b 1880; d 1962) Additionally...from my own family research [Ora McElroy Grimm is in my family]: John H's Date of birth: 08 Nov 1866 Date of death: 31 Dec 1943, in Lawrence County, OH Ora's information: Father: Henry McElroy (b 1839, OH; d 1920, Knox Co, OH; bur: Workman Cemetery Mother: Lovey Robeson (b ?; d 02 Jun 1872, Knox Co, OH: bur: Workman Cemetery [NB: There is no DOB or Age at Death on her stone] They had at least 3 children, Robert M, Burr, and Ora.
