    1. [OHKNOX] Roy and Vivian Shrimplin
    2. Le Juan Shrimplin
    3. I am looking for any information concerning Roy and Vivian Shrimplin. The only information I have been able to get is a flyer that was recently on sale on E-bay. I have tried Ancestry.com and Google with no results. The flyer has no date, no address information. There are pictures of them, he looks to be between 50 and 65 years old. Some of the information on the flyer: "Over thirty years experience as professional magicians has gone into building a most pleasing and mystifying program.....one that is enjoyable by all ages." There is more but thought this would be enough at this time. If any one has any information on this couple or research suggestions I would appreciate hearing from you. Thanks! Le Juan Shrimplin

I don't know anything about Harriet however. I was not sure from the 1870 census if she was Webster's wife or his sister. He is listed in the 1880 census as being married to Mary E. Green with two children, Grace age 9, and George Hall age 3. The family can be had to find because they lived near Centerburg. I'm not sure if you're familiar with the area, but it's at the corner of Knox, Delaware, and Licking Counties. The house is actually located in Licking County. That's were my interest in the Mills come from. I'm not related, but I live in his house now. As far as I know Webster lived here through 1920. George was here until at least 1930. I haven't been able to find out if George and his wife, Annette, had any kids. Like I said, I have some info on this family, mostly census records and a couple newspaper articles about Webster being behind in his taxes and George and his wife being involved in an auto accident. If you want to send me a message, it would probably be better to do it through my e-mail since I never remember to check the boards! Do you know if there is a written obit for Mary that might give further clues? I know Henry also died either at same time or within 2 years. No obit for him? I find it interesting that the will is documented Nov 1852 and Mary's death is Oct 1852. It makes me curious if they did both die at the same time in some sort of accident or something. I can't explain the differences in dates for Henry's will either but if you notice they both say book c pg 448. How did you get this information? is there an index online or in a book somewhere? Anyway, just questions. thank you for helping. Happy hunting! Mary Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I can't travel, so have been unable to find the info I need so thanks so much for your offer! I have a Henry A. CHILDS b. ca. 1812 in NY and his wife Mary A (I think BROWN)b. ca. 1811-2 in MA. They were living in Knox Co. Liberty twp. in 1840 and in 1850 according to census records. sometime after 1850 and before 1859 both parents died, leaving 5 orphans. Henry's brother (I think) Nahum M. Childs from Stafford NY came and took them to NY and farmed them out to foster families. I found a newspaper article dated 11/22/59 about the Ohio Supreme Court general docket with Nahum M. CHILDS vs. Abel UPDIKE. Nahum was the administrator of Henry's estate. Henry and Mary's children were James A Childs b. ca.1839, Gaylord Morton Childs b. ca. 1841, Mary J. CHILDS b. ca. 1846 and Theodore Melville CHILDS b. ca 1848. and an oldest daughter that I have been unable to determine her name. Since I know that t! hey were probably married in New York (oldest daughter born there)and the children were born before birth records AND unfortunately Henry died before death records, the only thing I guess you could look for is cemetery records. Even this will help me though. Based on family history, I believe the parents died between 1852 and 1856 possibly 2 years apart. Could you also help direct me to someone that could help me find out how to look for court records? I am sure there are court records about Henry's estate, the children and the lawsuit by this Updike. Anyway, any information very much appreciated!
