Do you know if Jane was married before and if Jackson was her first husband's name. My 4th great grandmother was Jane Minton (or Minturn). She was married to Isaac Jackson who died in 1813. They could be buried in unmarked graves or graves where the tombstones are gone or unreadable. I also checked 'Knox County, Ohio Will Abstracts 1808-1877 but there is no Thomas listed. Be sure to check Morrow county. You could check the land records for Morrow and Knox counties to see if they owned land and what happened to it after they died. This would give you an approximate date for Thomas and possibly his wife. Denise Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Denise, thank you very much for looking up the information on McNamee. I will check those names out. I needed some "fresh eyes" again in my search. Can you, or anyone, tell me where I could look for newspaper articles or any stories on those that left in the gold rush of about 1850 or so? Thanks again. I so appreciate the generosity and knowledge that is so freely given. I love to read all of the posts to these lists and learn a great deal always.
