    3. Hello List, can anyone answer some questions about the process of obtaining citizenship, for foreigners who entered the country before 1900, and settled in Toronto, Ohio ? When would it be necessary for an adult or a child to apply for citizenship ? After applying, is there a minumum waiting time required by law ? Is it possible that the orignal applications for citizenship are archived someplace that can supply a copy of the applications ? I am hoping that someone on the list can give me a better understanding of the citizenship process. Thanks, R. Greenlees rjg1932@juno.com Searching for information on John Greenlees, born 1875, in Scotland. His mother Mary Jane Greenlees, born about 1842, in Ireland. She may have been using her maiden name (Christie), after arriving in Toronto. They both arrived in the U.S. about 1885-1886. ___________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail.
