Hello Mary, That Brashear Family History Vol. 1, on pg. 209 mentions, "Move to Fairfax Co., VA. - Shortly after the sheriff's sale, Robert and Charity (Brashear) moved to Fairfax Co., VA where their dau. Ann "Nancy" Brashear, married Moses Ball, and where their son, Asa, was born in 1745." If you are descended from this same family, I strongly recommend you consider purchasing a copy of this 320 pg. book from the author as it would document you back to the original Robert Brasseur who first appears in Virginia's records of 1636: Charles Brashear 5025 Old Cliffs Road San Diego, cA 92120-1153 e-mail: brashear@mail.sdsu.edu This is one of the rare genealogy books which are truly documented and includes a full everyname index.
