Ed, I would imagine that it world have been listed in the newspaper servicing the area, but one just never knows with obituaries...I am not familiar with the Adena area, and so have no idea what the newspaper would be...perhaps they would know at the Schiappa. Why don't you drop Sandy a note and ask her if she knows the name of the likely paper, and if they have the aprox dates you want. Was he killed in the Adena area, or somewhere else?...if elsewhere, check for newspapers in both places. I visited Columbus last fall, and the Archives at the Ohio Historic Village had an entire huge room full of filing cabinets with nothing but Ohio Newspapers on film. If Sandy can help you with the newspaper name, perhaps you could check to see what they might have on file there You know thedate, which is a big help. The whold library/archives at Columbus would bewell worth a visit for you! Good luck.
