    3. Thanks Susan, for the kind word...You know, I always thought that this was suppose to be fun. Now, tell me about Daughters of 1812. I have just sent for the military records for several 1812 Vet ancestors....and another of my ancestor, the Reverend Francis Doughty, Anglican minister, arrived in Mass. in 1638, and had congregations in Mass, on Manhatten, and later, in Va. He's was always in trouble (or misunderstood) somewhere, and so is well documented. He even had a poor soul brought up on charges of "witchery" at about the same time as the salem witch trials......only in Va. I'd be interested in info on both organizations.
