Open 3 evenings a week and the price of admission is right - FREE. << For those of you lucky enough to get to DC to do research, please do yourself a favor and go to this DAR Library....it is absolutely fabulous, and the staff is so helpful. You can even give them the name of a specific Rev. war ancestor, and they will bring you the folder on him , with it's contents, that the lady used as proofs of his service, etc. Lots of valuable information can be gained like this...you can make copies for your own reference files. This Library and the Library of congress are 1st on my list in DC.... >>
