I will type as written. Date says Friday, March 9, 1888 at top of page and before the obit it says Tuesday, right after the obit it says Friday, June 8, 1888 OBITUARY--- Wm. SALTSMAN The funeral of the late Wm. Saltsman, of Ross township, whose death was chronicled in this paper last week, took place from his late residence on Friday at 9 a.m., the funeral being very largely attended...the remains laid to rest in the old family burying ground at the Pine Grove church yard. The pall bearers were John K. Saltsman, Jeff. Saltsman, Isaac Saltsman, Joshua Saltsman, Martin Saltsman, Jr., AND Martin Saltsman. The deceased was born on March 7, 1814 in Ross Township on the farm on which he has always resided. He was married to Margaret E. White, Jan. 28, 1846 who bore him five children, of whom only one, J.B. Saltsman survives, the mother having also died some years since. Mr. Saltsman was married to his second wife Celia Graham, on Feb. 2Feb.1887 who survives him...a constant Christian life has allowed his life to shine that others seeing his good works would follow Christ.
