I would like a history of Wintersville also. My great-great grandfather John House settled near Wintersville ca 1814. He was married to Sarah Knisely in Pennsylvania. There were parents of 9 children all born near Wintersville, Elizabeth, married Thomas Upton Nichols, Mary Alice married Washington Luther Nichols. Joseph House married Mary Ann Chaplian, Eleazure married Nancy Ellen Frazier, Amelia died young and Samuel died at age 4, buried in Mt. Tabor Cemetery along with father John and his brother James. Eli married Rebecca Smith, Catherine the youngest and born after death of father married to Charles David Crocker of Medina Co., Ohio. Elizabeth, Mary Ann, Eleazure, Joseph, Catherine moved to Medina Co, Ohio. Later Mary Ann, Elizabeth, Eleazure moved to Macon Co., Illinois . Any information on these family would be appreciated. Information on Mt. Tabor Cemetery, size, care and condition. How is it keep up.
