Hello Chalfant researchers, Notice the Chalfant name and thought I might share this with you. The Olde Fort Steuben project which has been digging in an area of land which was previously owned by a Nellie A. CHALFANT. Nellie appears as owner in a 1902 Atlas Map of Steubenville, OH on 125 N. High Street. They are very curious about her and her life. I believe they have found some personal items which they feel belong to her. Have you ever heard of a Nellie A CHALFANT? Julia
