Greetings, Probably a long shot -- there is an old town/village called CHALFANT, if I'm not mistaken, in Perry Co OH, prob. Hopewell twp. Might your CHALFANTs have come from there, be connected with that family, etc.? Perhaps someone there might have a database, etc...?? Happy searching! Caral
