Hi Folks, Larry and I just returned from Stark County. Grandma, Greathel Marie Shook Moore, passed away last Friday morning at age 87. I know there are some folks out there with her name and the family name so I thought I'd let you know she's at peace. I know we are all working so hard to find our ancestors but I urge you all to speak with the "old ones", get their stories and talk with their cousins. Grandma's legacy to us is that she lived without judging people, not because she couldn't, but because she chose to see and bring out the good in everyone who took the 5 or 10 minutes to be really honest with with themselves and her. Our two grandkids were her two youngest great-great-grandchildren...she knew them and they new her. So talk with and learn from those who have the time to listen and really do care. Kay
