Also Alan Eckert's book "The Frontiersman" is an excellent well researched book for background on the settling of Ohio Valley. I got my copies of "History of the Upper Ohio Valley, Vols. 1,2 through a used book dealer that specializes old county history books. Cost about $140 though. I can come up with the name if anyone wants it. She is located in Washington County, PA near Pittsburgh. Jan
