    3. Hi Helen, Thanks for your reply. I only have the names on the census, and the fact that Marie Ross Thompson called herself, Mariah. I wonder if they left OH. or if the younger ones were in the OH civil war effort. Haven't found anything else. Don't know what church they went to, tho the later family was Presbyterian. Was there a Presbyterina Church in 1840 - 50 in Steubenville. Would there be a marriage record in that church for 2 Jun 1827 when she and John Thompson married? How can I access that church? Thanks for any help, Bobbie >From: plearned@funtv.com >Reply-To: OHJEFFER-L@rootsweb.com >To: OHJEFFER-L@rootsweb.com >Subject: Re: History of Jefferson County, Ohio >Date: Sat, 20 Mar 1999 18:38:24 -0800 > >unsubscribe > >Helen Weals wrote: > >> Bobbie - >> >> There are lots and lots of Thompsons in Doyle's history and in the Tombstone >> book, but I see nothing that relates directly to your names.
