Roy was born in 1901 and died in 1972. His wife was Goldie De Yarmon. Does anyone connect to these surnames? Or have more information on the coal mines in the area? Or does anyone know of a book that has any info in it about them? Thanks, Judie >> Hello Judie, I was emptying out my e-mail and almost missed your above note. My response is not about the coal mines; but the two families. My gg-gm was Mary Jane DeYarmon (1832-1900) m/George HAYNES (1829-1907) of Dillonvale/Mt Pleasant. I don't have the DeYarmon sibs and children nearby. Their dau. Carrie m/William Bates GARRETSON. With the Fisher family; (again I don't have the needed papers) one of two maternal uncles, Elwood or Charles GIVENS, born around 1905, m/a Lorraine Fisher of Dry Fork/Dillonvale. I attended school (1st and 2nd grades) at Bradley. Small World. Any connection? Audrey, transplant from Jefferson Co., Ohio to Florida.
