    3. Hello, The following is an abstracted message from Sandy Day regarding a newly found and registered cemetery. Just in case there are some Hall researchers: "A semi regular patron was in the Ohio Room today and she saw our notice in the newspaper about us wanting info on old and forgotten cemeteries. She located part of what used to be a small cemetery down by Brilliant. She brought me a photo of the tombstone and it is very readable. It is actually in what used to be called Beach Flats in Wells Twp. She said she heard that there once were more tombstones in that vicinity but she did not see any. This patron said that logging trucks were running all over the place there and she and her sister moved the tombstone away from the "road" hoping that could save it from being run over. The info on the stone reads: In Memory of Benjamin Hall, who departed this life July 27th 1839, aged 65 years 4 months" Sandy has also contact Wells Twp. officials in hopes of protecting this early graveyard. The woman also stated that there were many stones years ago when she walked the area but only found two when she visited this site in the fall of 98. Julia
