Faith, It is really great to finally connect with someone who can help. I had found where in Anne Arundel Co, Md. in 1799 both Charles Chaney and Polly Chaney had married on the same day. Charles married Sarah Dunham and Polly married William Dunham. I'am aware of who Richard Chaney is. He was a colonist (some say Va) who came in the early 1600's. I would like to get a copy, so that I can study it closer. Can you tell me how to get a copy? I have been gathering information all up and down the coast, on any Chaney I can find hoping to find a William who came to Ohio in time to have a son born in 1800. I'am familiar with Richard, Nathaniel, and Jacob Chaney but I can't find William to connect him to them.
