Bonnie, The old Allmon homestead in Nebo(use to be across the creek from Bergholz)now a part of Bergholz was still standing the last time I was down there. Not far from the old Scarlott place.The Allmons travel up the ridge and some settled around Scroggsfield. I've oftened wondered if your Adams group comes from old Martin Adams. If you ever find a connection to Martin I'll send you some stuff that you well love. Seems he owned everything in Jeff.Co. believe in Brush Creed twp. and anyway the stories go that the tax people wouldn't even go near him.
