Hello All, Here's an announcement regarding an Historical Walk through Beatty Park, Steubenville, OH. The Jefferson County Historical Society is sponsoring a Spring flower and history walk through Beatty Park on April 24, 1999 at 10am. Giles Reeves, President of the Richmond Historical Society, will identify the Spring wildflowers. And Bob Dyson, a member of the association who has written many interesting stories from Steubenville's past, will come along to talk of the history of Beatty Park. Those interested in joining this walk are to meet at 10 a.m. on April 24th at the upper shelter house, where parking is available. The rain date will be May 1st.
