Steamboat interested persons. There is a book called "Buckeye Titan" (my Dad has it right now so I don't have the authors) written about the Levi James family and their descendants who travelled the Ohio River and Mississippi River on various steamboats, flatboats etc. one of which if I recall was built in STeubenville. This James family scattered all along the Ohio Valley some even possibly in Jefferson County. I just haven't put the ties together yet as were so many. The book is very interesting. It can be requested through any antique book dealer. Was written in the 1950's. It is well indexed too as to family names and information. Valerie Johnson
