Hi all, I've found that by using the "webferret" search engine that there is a site that lists unclaimed Civil War medals available to descendants of the person who was awarded them. The site I looked at was KY and I was able to follow a link to that particular site. I don't know if there is a similar service for those who served in the war from Ohio.
