Just found the 1895 Jefferson County map and aerial picture leads me to believe that someone could elope by crossing the Ohio, at least on horseback before modern tech changed the river banks. This map says Warrentown, my Catherine BEALL was supposed to be from Warren. Does anyone know what Warrentown is called today? If you crossed the Ohio at Warren what major city/ county would you be in ~ 1830? Thanks in advance. Linda
