Terri, I always look for the histories on the County sites I visit. My Benjamin Reed was one of the originals, being a squatter and kicked out several times, documented in "20th Century History and Biography of Steubenville & Jefferson Co, OH" He was also a boat builder. I have a list of the first settlers and a list of the first lots sold at Steubenville. If you do not have them. I will be happy to post them to the list.
