Sarah, You should contact someone from the Schiappa library, ie: Sandy Day to help you on this. There are several other cemeteries close that he could be buried at if not New Alexandria. Also, maybe someone from the Jefferson County Genealogy Society can help. Have you tried contacting any of those folks. They are very helpful and I'm sure can answer your question.
