    3. Hello - Are your McLains connected to the Maples? William Maple (b. ca. 1738, Middlesex Co., N>J., d. 1812, Jefferson Co., Ohio). His daughter, Clarissa Maple (b.1781?) married 12 August 1801, James MCCLAIN of Jefferson Co., Ohio. Also his dau. Sarah Maple (b. 1778,Middlesex Co., N.J. d. Tunnel Mill, Jeff. Co. O.) married John MCCLAIN They lived near Knoxville, O. They had a son James, b. ca. 1802. Interested in hearing from you.
