To give you an idea of what info are in the old records here is a copy of a naturalization page copied from; JEFFERSON COUNTY,OHIO COMMON PLEAS BOOK II p.54 SEPTEMBER TERM A.D. 1812 Henry Jackman, Robert Jackman, Charles Armstrong, George Jackman, Alexander Olliver, John Montgomery, William Gamble, John Whitcraft, Andrew Easleson, Adam Jackman, Daniel Dunberry, William White, and Richard White, Thoms Vincent, and Andrew Elliott aleins came into Court and made application to be admitted as citizens of the United States of America, and having produced to the court satisfactory evedence of their residence moral character and good desposition to wards the American Government and having respectively taken an oath to support the Constitution of the United States and to renounce and align all allegiance and fedillity to every foreign ? Potentate State and sovereignty particularly George the Third of the United Kingdom of Great Britian and Ireland King it is ordered by the court that all the aforesaid applicants be admitted as citizens of the United States and that the same be certified to them the said citizens under the seal of this court.
