I had a couple of Jefferson Co. ancestors who most likely saw the inside of a jail during the mid 1800's. Does anyone know the names of and locations of any such facilities in Jefferson Co. during that timeframe? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you, Barbara Richardson
