Helen Weals, I read your email of Jan. 16th. John MC CULLOUGH and Jane UNDERWOOD are my gggg grandparents. The information I have indicates that they had a son named John who was married to Jane RICHEY. I have very little information on this second John and none on his wife Jane. John was born in 1777 and died in 1850. In 1825 he would have been about 48 years old. Given the high mortality rate of women in those days it is conceivable that he was a widower and able to marry Charity CRITSER, but I have no information to that effect. The older John MC CULLOUGH and Jane UNDERWOOD had the following children; John, Hugh, David, Alexander, Andrew, Margaret(Peggy), and Richard. The only child I have for John MC CULLOUGH and Jane RICHEY is my ggg grandmother Jane McCullough ANDREWS (1813 - 22 March, 1902). She married William ANDREWS on 26 Oct, 1831. Their daughter Nancy Jane ANDREWS (15 March 1840 to 26 Jan 1892) married Stephen Ford HOBSON on 14 Nov. 1861. I would be very interested in any information you can share on the McCullough family.
