Judie, My BARCUS/BAKRHURST line is as follows: William John BARCUS ( I've also found it spelled BARKHURST) was born 16 Jul 1823 in Ohio or WVA died 25 May 1909 at Brilliant, Oh Jefferson Co. He married Lucninda COX 16 Apr 1848 in Jefferson Co Oh. He and his family mostly lived in the Rush Run Warren Twp, Wells Twp, and Smithfiled, Oh of Smithfield Twp. They had about 11 children. If you recoginize this name I can give you the names of the children. There is also a William BARKHURST (I don't know if he was blood related) that married my g-g-g-grandmother, Isabella HAYNES, HAMAKER/HAYMAKER. The marriage to Wm. BARKHURST was her second after my g-g-g-grandfahter HAYMAKER died. Wm. was born 1785 in Maryland, and they lived in Smithfield I believe. Isabella was born 1802 died 1857.
