Hi, I am searching for information on Mary Elizabeth JAMES b.1855 in East Springfield Ohio. She married George HARRIS in 1882. George is listed as a RR worker on the 1900 census. Her parents were Samuel JAMES b.c. 1832 (A Bible agent in 1900)in Ohio and Mary STEPHENS b.c. 1836 in Ohio. Living in the home of Samuel and Mary on the 1870 census is Ellen STEVENS age 87. I am wondering if Ellen could be Mary's mother.Also in the home were Raymond STEVENS, age 10 and Susan A. STEVENS, age 7 and Jessie V. STEENS (possibly STEVENS??) age 3. Possible cousins, niece and nephew? Any information on these ancestors would be most welcome.
